Registrar of Vital Statistics

West Deptford Township's Office of Vital Statistics is available for services on an appointment basis. In order to arrange an appointment, please call 856-845-4004 Ext. 130. 

Marriage Licenses
In order to obtain a marriage license at least one of the applying spouses must live in West Deptford Township (unless the applying couple lives out of state, then they may apply for their license in West Deptford if this is the place of the wedding). Once the couple is married, the completed license gets filed in the municipality where the wedding occurred, that municipality is also where you should obtain your certified copies. 

The couple should print out the Marriage License Application and fill out the first page with their information. Please make sure you write clearly and legibly. Then, call to make an appointment at 856-845-4004 Ext. 130. For your appointment you should bring your marriage license application (with completed first page) and valid photo ID (non-expired drivers' licenses, valid passports), the two applicants should plan to attend in person with a witness who is older than 18 years old, and their $28 payment payable via cash, check, or money order.  

Certified Copies of Vital Records(Copies of Birth, Marriage, Death Certificates)
To obtain a Vital Record, please call 856-845-4004 ext. 130 in order to make an appointment or discuss the requirements to obtain a certified copy. West Deptford Township can provide certified copies of Vital Records that occurred within West Deptford Township. 

If you are mailing an application for a Certified Copy, please print and fill out the Certified Copy request and complete the appropriate section for the document you're requesting. Please mail the application to 400 Crown Point Road and include a copy of your photo ID and your payment ($20 for the first copy, and $5 for each additional).
